I have 5 Republican coworkers sit around eating Whoppers and Big Macs (with Diet Cokes, of course) every day and bitch about having to pay for insurance for others. Just wondering why I should have to pay higher premiums because they’ve collectively had a dozen heart attacks before the age of 50.
Hi! In condo apt. was a common pipe leak and my kitchen flooded. Plumber came, tore wall out, fixed leak. Plaster fixed ceiling. Carpenter did cabinetry. Deductible is 10,000 on a Master policy. Manager said – not enough damage (6-7000). There is no unit owner insurance. Is there a chance to get new kitchen through insurance?

I have a friend that came from Iowa and as I understand it, she claims that a vehicle being over so many years old does not require insurance. So, she comes to the state of NY and I’m inclined to believe that this is not recognized in NY and that all vehicles in the state of NY should and will be insured regardless of which state it’s from. Please give me some info on this before somebody gets killed.(like children ??…) mainly the ones that I care for.
Assume that the suspect vehicle is stolen. During a police chase, the suspect’s car bumps into yours.

I recently received 9 months probation, 5 in total fees, M.A.D.D. and Marijuana Addiction seminars, random drug testing while on probation, and Mental Counseling all for an M.I.P. in which I blew a .019 B.A.C. This is my first offense but this sentencing still seems a little steep. I was charged along with my friend who was the driver of the car. He should have been facing 2 other felonies (DWI and felony possession of marijuana and vicodin) along with an M.I.P. but the cop let him off easy when we got pulled over. We each ended up with the same sentencing.
Is there anyway for me to hire a attorney and retry my case or am I fuckd for the next 9 months…?

I’m a teacher looking for a website that provides quick, estimated renters insurance quotes. Since I will be having students use the site, they will not have an actual property and all its details to enter for a full quote. Almost every site I’ve located requires name, address, and other personal information which the students will not be able to enter (since this is a fictitious situation). I found allstate.com’s "quick quote" and it seems pretty good. Any other sites to suggest? Thanks!
okay i was in ulster county new york (im from the bronx) visiting my friend in college.. we went to a party.. long story short.. i was pulled over on my way back to my friends dorm took a breath test and blew a .11.. now i have to go to court january 8th to face a dwi.. i have a clean criminal record, clean license, what can i expect? i found a lawyer up there that said he can try to get me a plea for a lessor charge for 0.. any advice?
