Okay, if we make too many small little claims for home, our rate would jump and if enough they may cancel the insurance. If that is so? how big should a claim be to benefit us the homeowner? If claiming the big claim only the case? Should we even consider buying additional coverages?

I am in the process of renting a house for my family. The owner already said i can have the house, Ijust need to purchase renters insurance. She wants me to show her the Declaration Page of Insurance first before she gives me the keys. She did not say these exact words but basically that is how she wants it. The owner already has insurance on the house.
I already know which agency I am going with.
But does this sound legit? Should I continue to purchase the insurance before I sign the lease?
The house is legit, and the owners are legit and the house is not on the foreclosure list. Everything has been checked out already.
Am I worrying too much?
i forgot to add that i will purchase the insurance, but she wants be to do it before i even move in. she keeps asking me about it and seems to be making a big deal.

I live in NY, 23 years old, and was arrested for a DWI. My attorney spoke to the DA and now I am contemplating this decision. My attorney is telling me that it is a 50/50 chance of getting dropped because I have a good case but I do not know if I am willing to risk being charged with a DWI.
I am in my last semester of undergraduate work and was planing on going in to graduate school for education or possibly pursuing a government job. I am not sure whether or not there would be a difference in the effect of either charge on my employment opportunities.

I was recently in an accident and my car was taken over to a local collision shop. I wanted to know whether or not I have to have an insurance adjuster check out my car through this or any other collision shop or whether i can just have an adjuster come to the collision shop’s lot and check out the car without me having to pay anything but towing and storage fees to the collision shop. Furthermore, can I be there when the adjuster comes in so that I can view the whole procedure?

I am a student in high school that gets a’s and b’s. How much would liability be on a red 2000 mustang gt? It has 85000 miles on it and a clean carfax.

I got a tixs for speeding and reckless driving (at the same time). And if my rates go up, is there a way I can get the chrages reduced to careless driving? How would I go about doing that sort of thing? Any info on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What steps can I take when shipping out my diamond to be inspected by a Gemologist? I have a large diamond that is certified and an out of state jeweler wants to further inspect it for brillance and fire ( of which a certificate can not do). What can I do If I decide to send out my diamond to have them inspect it and they never return it or it gets lost or they send back a fake one. Can I place the diamond on my homeowners insurance before I send it out? I am obviously assuming the worst, but nowadays we need to be more careful. I also know I can insure it with the post office, but will that only be good for upon delivery? Thank you for your answers
