I recently signed up for comprehensive insurance with my auto insurer and right after doing so my windshield cracked, now they didn’t inspect my vehicle before hand but I don’t know how long I should wait to have them fix it because I don’t want it to look like i only upgraded so they’d fix my windshield for free.(in Florida they have to replace your windshield for free with comprehensive insurance). anybody know how long I should wait?

I have gutters, my neighbor, who lives at a slightly higher elevation does not. When it rains, all of his rain water runs of of his roof and pools at the edge of my house. Recently, the standing rain water has worked it’s way into my basement. Now, every time it rains, i get a flooded basement. Is there anything I can do?
He is a total deadbeat by the way. His house looks vacant but it’s not. Not exactly resident of the year. Please help.

We are planning on moving to south west broward (Weston, pembroke pines, cooper city etc..). İ have not lived in the states for almost 18 years and have no idea what the cost of living is. We are a family of 4 (2 teen boys who eat 24/7) How much money will we need to live on food, water, electric, insurance for 2 cars (normal cars nothing exotic) gas, homeowners insurance etc..

I am buying a home and someone just told me it will take 10-15 days to get flood insurance. Something about having to look at elevation maps, etc. Is this true?

another quote cheaper for $ 1491 annually but the value of coverage will be DEPRECIATED every year AND no hurricane evacuation coverage.!

Im trying to get a quote for homeowners insurance in pensacola, fl. all the big companies (progressive, state farm, farmers) say they do not provide homeowner insurance in florida. does any one know of any company in pensacola, fl or just florida in general that i can get a quote from.
