I am considering attending an independent insurance adjuster course at "Mile High Adjusters" in Denver Colorado. Anyone have an experience with this school? They make it sound like a very lucaritive field. Is this true? Thank you!!

It all depends on how good they are and the terms of their employment.
Independent adjusters are paid per claim they handle. So, if you are a property adjuster and you are willing to chase storms and be away from home for long periods of time then you can make pretty good money.
But if there are no storms or no one is hiring you…then you won’t make much at all.
Zero.
It’s lucrative – for them.
Look, if you don’t have a bachelor’s degree, that license isn’t going to get you hired by an insurance company. Any kind of "independent adjusting" work is going to be paid PIECEMEAL, and since insurance companies aren’t hiring out as much any more, it’s harder and harder to GET those jobs.
You can always go to http://www.salary.com to find out AVERAGES, but the problem is, unless your dad owns the adjusting company, you’re probably not even going to get in the door.
Not sure about money but they got a free vehicle with insurance name on it. If it’s me, I would expected them to pay me 20 dollars an hour plus benefit and free new vehicle every couple of years.
