I work at a gas station, a customer (CAR A) needed a jump start for her car and had cables but needed assistance from another car. So CAR B offered her car as a source of help. CAR A and CAR B had no problem with me connecting the cables to both cars. Upon connecting the cables to both cars, the engine of CAR B started smoking and flames erupted. I Immediately called cops and they took all our info.

So who is at fault legally in this scenario?

We are planning on moving to south west broward (Weston, pembroke pines, cooper city etc..). İ have not lived in the states for almost 18 years and have no idea what the cost of living is. We are a family of 4 (2 teen boys who eat 24/7) How much money will we need to live on food, water, electric, insurance for 2 cars (normal cars nothing exotic) gas, homeowners insurance etc..

I’m a 3rd grade teacher in NJ who currently has "Century 21 Auto Insurance". I representative from "California Casualty Auto Insurance" came in to demonstrate their insurance. I am now contemplating on switching. Does anyone has any luck with this insurance, or any other one? I will be paying about 0 per month for 2 cars.

There are 2 cars driving right behind each other on a street. Both cars are going speed limit, and the car behind is following closely, yet keeping a safe distance. The car in front makes an abrupt turn (no signal, or slowing down), causing the car behind to crash into it. Who is at fault?

I am among a group that is going down to LA for a convention. Unfortunaly no one in our group has cars that we trust to get us down there and since none of us are over 21(one is a week too late) none of the major car rental companies(Hertz, Enterprise ect.) will let us rent. Is there any in northern Ca(Specificaly in the northern sac county and southern placer county) that let 18 and over rent? Thanks!

So I need to choose whether to take Farmer’s insurance with 30/year or take Safeco insurance via Independent insurance company with 30. These are minimal prices for my cars with all discounts that i can get. Is there really big differences between those independent companies and farmers or safeco, Thanks in advance.

I need a new car, but I don’t want to pay a lot for auto insurance. Right now I have a Cavalier (hate it, by the way) and because it is a Z24 it raised the insurance premium. I just wondered if there are certain makes of cars that are usually cheaper on auto insurance. Anyone know?

I recently got in a car accident with a drunk driver , the other person was at fault and my car is being totaled so the insurance is going to wrote a check. The cars title is signed by both me and my dad and notorized to me. But I have yet to register the car under my name, my dad gave me the car a few weeks ago. So who will the check be written out to, and who is the owner of the car? This is in Arizona.
