After being with Wawanesa for 12 years I let my car insurance lapse for 2 months and now have to reapply.
I am now unemployed, how will that affect my rates? Do they look at it as driving less since no job to go to or driving more since excess free time now?

I live in Allen, TX and have a shared fence line dispute with my neighbors contractor (not my neighbor). Initially the contractor felt we had a verbal contract for my roof and fence line (i never felt we did) and upon declining his services i indicated that we needed to discuss what repairs would be performed with myself and my neighbors shared fence line . Those discussions never occurred until after the contractor replaced the entire fence line as well and upgraded it to a higher quality product. Now the contractor is billing me for half of those costs ( a foot) and threatening legal action if not paid in full. I had no problem splitting the costs of the needed repairs with my neighbor (again my neighbors are not requesting funds), but at no point in time was i provided from my neighbor or the contractor with an estimate or date of this fence replacement. My question is what is my legal obligation to the contractor under this scenario if neither my homeowners insurance or myself ever agreed that this section of fencing needed to be replaced? The hang up is that he keeps claiming we had a verbal contract who he has a witness to, yet it’s my opinion that we never made any formal agreement at any point in our discussions on what materials, costs, or time frame the job would be performed in (he’s claiming i verbally agreed to have him discuss those details with the insurance adjuster under our apparent verbal contract).
To answer the questions asked.

1) he met with my insurance adjuster (all state) per his request which i allowed when i first filed my claim.
2) The posts are on their side but i’m not aware specifically who’s property the fence is on, the HOA acknowledges it as their fence
3) I contacted my neighbor prior to the fence being replaced and they indicated he was paid and needing nothing from me.
4) i didn’t bother to stop the fence replacement as per #3 nothing was discussed with me and i was under the impression payment had been made ….it was until 2 weeks later i was invoiced

Our postman is always on his mobile. I cannot remember seeing him without it either ringing or in his hand. What particularly annoyed me today was that his phone started to ring whilst he was handing me my mail. Luckily, he didn’t drop my mail but he couldn’t hand over the mail fast enough.

Feels like his job as postman is an inconvenience to whatever activities revolve around his mobile.

What do you think?
He’s driving, handing me mail, sorting mail…

My fiance was on her way back to work from testifying in court which she had to do for her job. After the court hearing, she was heading back to work and was involved in a car accident. Would any of the damages, such as paying the deductible if she needs to, be covered by her employer since it was during company time and she was forced to testify for her work? She was not injured so no workers comp is needed just damages on her car.

How do Network Administrators start out?

I am currently considering going back to school for a Associates in Network Administration. But, the thing is that, every time I search for these jobs on the internet, all I find are jobs for people with a wealth of specific experience. I read somewhere on here that most Network Admins start out in help desk jobs.

Is that true? Would I be able to find a job with a Associates in IT and a BA in a unrelated subject?

Any advice would be helpful.

So there’s a bunch of trees that are over the fence marking the property line. We really want them to be trimmed up, but I’m not sure if it’s our job to do it, or the neighbors.

I got my 1st DUI charge in Myrtle Beach, SC. I blew a .21 and saw where the penalty in SC is ,000 fine + 30 days mandatory minimum jail sentence. I have a job and would like to get an attorney who can help me at least get a restricted license. I have no idea who I should consult, any known suggestions would be helpful.

I recently just graduated college and got a pretty good deal for my job. I’m moving to Atlanta. The good thing about starting this job is that for 9 months my apartment is completely paid for and it’s furnished. My question is should I get renters insurance for an apartment that is furnished? If I was robbed or furniture was stolen wouldn’t it kinda be the landlords problem in a sense. The most valuable stuff I have is my laptop and possibly my desktop. Also if you live in Atlanta was in a general price that you pay for Car insurance. Thanks. I’m looking at state farm and it was roughly around 120 dollars a month
