Also believe it or not I have another friend who got insurance under her parents insurance company and she got a discount for it.. She is under Progressive and pay 50 dollars a month. I’m a male and I can only dream of my insurance being . That isn’t going to happen.
Is that all state?

My son was involved in an argument while on school property. He was in the class room and the teacher saw the entire thing. The other student hit my son and severely broke his nose and he had lacerations on his face from the students class ring. The school said they are not responsible for seeking restitution for medical expenses and property damage. His medical expenses will be close to 00, that was just the ER visit, and he was referred to an specialist to see if there will be permanent damage. He was wearing his Varsity Jacket to which they don’t know if they will be able to remove the blood stains. The value of the jacket 0, if they get the stains out dry cleaning will be about , not to mention his shirt, pants and shoes he was wearing that are ruined. The school did not notify the police of the incident. They didn’t feel the need to do so. They both received 3 days suspension, the principle is still doing investigation to see based on my son’s sustained injuries if the other student should receive additional punishment. He is a wrestler, I doubt it. Was told it is up to the coach whether he benches him or not. My son plays basketball and will be unable to play for at least 4 weeks. In my opinion, the other student should not be allowed to wrestle the until my son is released to play basketball.
Should I call the parents or send a letter for the restitution?
Got back from the specialist — he needs surgery — the school isn’t doing anything about the sustained injuries to him. The principle moved back the day of their suspension so the other kid could wrestle tonight. Now what?
I have my own job, I work 40 hours a week, I have my own car pay for my own car insurance gas, and necessities ? is this legal? See the lady wants all of us, to sign a residential rental application. U think i could get approved I mean its not going under my name just going to be living in the apartment with my two friends. They don’t actually live there yet. We all went in today and left out the part that im only 17? my parents said i can move out but we dont wanna go thru all the emmancipation process. So what can i do? is this legal tho or allowed?

We (Hubby & myself) have temporarily moved in with my parents due to arrangements regarding another rental unit not working out as planned. Anyway… As a result, we have also rented a storage unit for the majority of our belongings.
Getting to the point… There was a recent down-pour here, and more than half of our household was drenched. The storage owner had the audacity to offer us . Then, after we declined, he said that he would consider more if we (himself, myself, & my husband) together inspected every item to see if it is defective or not.
Inspecting each item is insane: 3 DVD players, a DVD recorder, a VCR, 2 TVs, 300+ DVDs, 100+ CDs, several VHS tapes, surge protectors, cables/cords/connections, a tape recorder, a stereo, ….The list is HUGE…
And he (owner) claimed that a judge would ask the same (that everything be itemized & tested). Sounds like bull schit to me. But, while I’m familiar with many aspects of the law, property damage is something that I’ve never gotten into.
We have photos of wet spots, of horribly damaged boxes, of the roofers on the roof of our storage rental unit on the day after our complaint, etc…
What do you guys think? Any advice/input?
