Almost 3 years ago my car was damaged through vandalism. I made a police report, but at the time I was 19 years old and was ignorant of my coverages. A few months later I switched my insurance company for a few months then switched back to my original company. The expiration time to file is coming up next month, so my question is can I file a comprehensive claim?

I rear ended someone about a month ago at a red light, and I offered to pay out of my pocket for the damages. There was no police report, and a month later he decides he would rather deal with the insurance company than take my offer of paying out of my pocket. My car wasn’t even damaged, and I think he needs to get his bumper replaced.
I never been into an accident before, and I wonder what happens now? Its been a month so can he still file a claim? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Also, this accident occured out of state.
The police was called but there was no police report. They just checked out our info.

My 2000 Ultra Fat Pounder was stolen from the home of an acquaintance who had borrowed the bike for about 1 month. The person rents this residence and the owner of the residence is his boss whose primary business is in Texas. I would like to know my legal remedies as to who I can pursue to repay the monies lost due to this theft. The bike is worth ,000 and of course I did not have insurance on the bike. If the person has renters insurance could I file a claim or if the homeowner has insurance, would that be possible. I don’t even know how to go about finding out who the insurance company is. This happened in Arkansas. A police report was filed. Any other suggestions would also be welcomed.

As a claims adjuster, I know my fair share about accidents but unfortunately I have never had to go through the small claims court process so im pretty new to it.
My boyfriends car (its an old clunker- therefore, no collision) was hit by an uninsured motorist Friday night. Today (monday) I picked up the police report and confirmed they were uninsured and confirmed the owners information.
I sent a certified letter as well as hand delivered a letter to them today confirming that if I did not hear from they within one week I would be filing a claim against them in small claims court.
Lets say I do not hear back- are their any further steps before I go to small claims? How does the small claims court process work? have you ever been through it- how did it turn out for you? Any advice is appreciated b/c like i said.. this is my first (and hopefully only time) i will have to deal with this.
and this kids… is why you need insurance! thanks for any advice/help!

If I am the victim of a hit-and-run while my car was parked and claim the damage to my insurance provider, would my rates go up if the situation was someone else’s fault? Would I need to file a police report?

I was rear ended in a automobile accident. The person who hit me did not have insurance. I have liability coverage insurance and my company will not pay for my repairs. I received the police report and it states the person hit me 40 mph while I was in a stop position. It also reports the person had no insurance.
What should I do to get my car repaired?

I was rear hit by a driver that has allstate insurance. The damage is probably 0 to 00 US. Do I have sue allstate or is it better to pay deductible (don’t want to) and use my insurance company, GEICO, and hope for the best? I have the police report, pictures, etc.

I was hit by an uninsured motorist, and my passengers side door was dented. The door latches closed but there is still a 1-2 inch gap at the top between the car the top of the door so it looks like it doesnt close. How much do you think this will cost to get fixed? It won’t pass inspection the way it is now.
It was 10 months ago. I have the police report, but i never reported it to my insurance company. Is it too late? I’m in Massachusetts

I live in Florida. My car accident was due to the person running a Red light. He was at fault as stated in the police report. The other party’s insurance is taking their time to settle our claim. My question is: what is the time limit for an insurance claim to be settled?
