I mean nothing with too high a heel to be dangerous, just ordinary fashion boots? Like 3" and below, would that be ok? I’m not concerned with getting caught in between the pedals, because I use my left foot for the brake and right foot for the gas, so I don’t move my feet around while driving. I could see how it would be dangerous if you had to move from brake to gas..but I drive with both feet on the pedals.
We have a large tree (the oldest, largest in the neighborhood) sitting smack-dead on the property line between our house and our neighbor’s house. We have new neighbors who are complaining about an "obstructed view" of the street (and why someone would rather see a street and neighbor’s houses than a tree I have no idea) and want to either cut the tree down or prune it to the point of deformation. We are refusing. Not only does the tree provide an excellent canopy over the entire front yard, it provides shade to the house which helps keep our energy bills low.
What, if any, are the liability concerns? What happens if the neighbor prunes and damages the tree without our permission?
We live in Ohio, by the way. We do not have a Home Owner’s Association.
I will be graduating from college in a year or two, and when I start my job I will have to pay for my own car insurance. I have had a few small accidents, but they all still count as accidents and raise the insurance I have. So my question is, will my "record" still be the same if I switch companies? My last accident was over a year ago. And how long does it take for the rates to go back down, if at all?
I mean when I had all my accidents it was the first few years after I got my drivers license so I don’t think it counts towards how good of a driver I am now… right?

I want to do the 1040EZ becuase I’ve been using it for years but the "homeowner" thing makes me curious if I can get a better return by using a different form. Last year my husband and I went to Jackson Hewitt and I swear, no kidding, the guy preparing our taxes only used his index fingers to type. I was in an auto accident a 7 months ago and want to get quotes from other companies just out of curiosity. My insurance rate won’t be impacted by this (if any) until my December renewal(?). The police determined me to be at fault. I was able to get the resulting ticket dismissed in civil traffic court because the other car’s people didn’t show up to testify in favor of the cop’s conclusion. My insurance company put me at 50% liability. So, would I report that as me being "at fault" on an insurance quote request or not at fault? There’s no "in between" option. Is this something I should do a phone quote for instead of doing it online since it’s a little complicated?
I know several people who have submitted their information into one of the many "online auto insurance quotes" and now they have solicitors all over them, on their phone, emails, junk mail and even one case of Social Security Identity theft. So my question is: Are these online auto insurance quotes really safe? Doesn’t it make sense to stay with a local auto insurance agent you can do business with either on the phone or in person.

Is it possible for two brothers to be under the "Named (or Names) Insured" list on a car insurance statement or any paper relating to car insurance. Can two brothers be insured together?
It might have said Insured Named and not Named Insured…does that make a difference?
