Hi I was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of a website that gives honest auto insurance quotes? I have been looking to get an auto insurance quote online for quite some time now but most of the websites look like scams to me….

I rear ended someone about a month ago at a red light, and I offered to pay out of my pocket for the damages. There was no police report, and a month later he decides he would rather deal with the insurance company than take my offer of paying out of my pocket. My car wasn’t even damaged, and I think he needs to get his bumper replaced.
I never been into an accident before, and I wonder what happens now? Its been a month so can he still file a claim? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Also, this accident occured out of state.
The police was called but there was no police report. They just checked out our info.
I have fully comprehensive car insurance on a car, I heard you can drive another car with the owners permission because you’re insurance is fully comprehensive. (So if there is a crash my insurance will cover the costs 3rd party)
Here’s the tricky bit, I am on my friends fully comprehensive car insurence as a named driver. Can I (Being a named driver on his fully comprehensive insurence) drive someone else’s car with there permission?

Should a roommate be expected to chip in for a large appliance (lawnmower, freezer, etc) to the person they’re renting from (homeowner)? This is something I won’t actually be using myself, however it will benefit me. I’m not sure how long I’ll be living there, nor will this item be something that I’ll get to take with me. I pay a little extra for normal utilities, however I’m not sure how right I feel helping pay for something that homeowners typically would buy anyway. Thanks in advance for your help! =)
So I need to choose whether to take Farmer’s insurance with 30/year or take Safeco insurance via Independent insurance company with 30. These are minimal prices for my cars with all discounts that i can get. Is there really big differences between those independent companies and farmers or safeco, Thanks in advance.
I have gone uninsured for over a few months in Iowa due to being dead broke & am looking into getting coverage again….are there any companies that offer lower penalties than most or no penalties at all? Can an insurance company even check for themselves if you have had previous coverage or do they just rely on your word? If so….tempting lol. Also are there any other options im not thinking of? I replaced my steering wheel on an olds intrigue, the manufactures steps for disconnecting the srs system were followed. But the air bag light is now on and I dont want to pay the dealer to do the diagnostic. Everything is hooked back up properly and auto zone and other places i have tried dont have diagnostic testers with srs capability. Thanks in advance for any help!
Are home security alarms necessary in apartment buildings. We own our condo and were considering installing a home security alarm. What do home security alarms do, what are they capable of ? Recent hail damage on my car. It is paid off and older. I was considering taking the cash-out option on the insurance claim and putting the cash into repairs. I received 3 quotes from reputable body shops and they ranged from 00 – 00. Just came back from a meeting with the adjuster (All State) and they offered 80. He told me if I wanted more, take it to a body shop and All State would pay the difference to the body shop. Why, if All State will pay the body shop 00 to repair my car, will they not give me a check for 00? I know darn well that I’ve given them more than that amount over the last 10-years as a policy holder! To make it even more pertinent – one of the quotes is from their ‘preferred’ body shops!
Can I appeal to the Texas Department of Insurance?
